GS724TP VLAN Issues
I just added a GS724TP to my network, it is showing the latest firmware 5.0.0.15 with the Boot Version of 1.0.0.5. This switch was added to utilize the POE feature of the new GS108T (New Gray ones). ...
This may sound a little confusing - because frankly it is - even though the switch tells you that the VLAN1 cannot be edited, it can, I have done it, I just don't remember the sequence.
Try creating a second VLAN, adding the ports you want in that VLAN to the VLAN and then see if you can remove them from VLAN1.
