GSM4210P Switch recovery

Hi I am after some help

My switch seems to of lost its firmware and sits with just orange power light on (not green) no matter if its just power plugged in or connected to equipment / PC

If I connect console cable and just watch the RS232 output without touching keyboard I get:

Error: Can't get kernel image!

u-boot>

It will not proceed further.

Obveously the web interface accesses by OOB port via IP 192.168.0.239 is not working for reason above.

I am after help on how I can recover the unit, I assume I need to tftp boot or something the firmware back into the unit and use the "setenv" comands to flash it back in but I don't honestly know.

If anyone has the proceedure, programs and files that would be great.

Thanks

John

    Megapixel,

    Welcome to our community! :)

It seems that you are having issues with your switch. May you be able to share the startup information so that we can see if it is still possible to re-flash the firmware of the unit?

    Regards,

    John
