GSM7228PS Switch cutting out for 20 minutes every 90 minutes
GSM7228PS, Firmware 8.0.3.25 has started acting strange.
Every 90 minutes, the switch goes down for about 20 minutes, and no one can get on the network or connect to any APs.
I am hoping for some advice on where to start troubleshooting, without just unpugging everything, and plugging things in one at a time until it works properly again (waiting 90mins for each). There are a lot of APs and other switches connected, so I would rather avoid that.
Additionally, a couple of the ports are no longer providing POE.
And yes, I tried turning it off and on.
Any help appreciated.

Hi Wmca,
Welcome to NETGEAR community!:smileyhappy:
It's hard to point out the exactly trigger about your concern.
Maybe we need you to share us more information about your GSM7228PS.
But I found the firmware of your switch is too old that maybe some known defect existed.
So I suggest you to upgrade GSM7228PS to latest firmware.
Please save&backup the configuration of GSM7228PS locally before deploy the upgrade operation.
Read the release notes carefully in every firmware package.
That will help you to upgrade GSM7228PS correctly and safety.
Such as:
1) TFTP is recommended way to upgrade.
2) Boot code need to upgrade by manual command in some firmware.
3) PoE firmware must take a while to upgrade .
4) Don't power cycle during upgrade.
5) etc...
The recommendation for upgrade order is:
8.0.3.25(yours current firmware)--->8.0.3.34-->10.0.0.25-->10.0.0.44(PoE firmware upgrade)-->10.0.0.53.
Let me know if you have any update.
Regards,
Daniel.
