As a general rule, network switches have little to no impact on internet speeds, which is what I assume you're complaining about - also as a general rule duplex settings can be allowed to auto-negotiate, forcing a given setting almost always results in a problem.
So - what makes you the problem is related to the duplex settings, and which connection specifically are you forcing to full duplex and why?
To answer your question - I've used the G2724T (not certain which version) and several other Netgear switches, I've found them (again in general) to be adequate performers and use them in several client networks where I cannot justify the cost of a Cisco switch - I should point out here that a GS724 is not a managed switch, but a "SmartSwitch" in that it's management capabilities are limited.
