How to backup and restore configuration for 4 switches (stacked)

Dear All,   I would like to figure out how to fullly backup configuration from 4 switches that they have formed stack currently ( 1 GUI manage 4 switches)   Does there any procedure i can follow ...

Welcome to the community! 

 

You will have to issue a save config command to save the configuration settings of the stack. Please click here to learn more regarding switch stack configuration files.

    I have read the link you provided and it is useful.

     

    Question:  how could i restore the configuration to these staked switches ?

     

    Do i need to re-form the stack first ? or I can restore it via the GUI "Download" ?

      Hello keithwong, 

       

      Yes, you will have to re-form the stack. Please also take note that the configuration file can only be downloaded to the Master Stacking Unit.
