How to set up Mirroring

Hi, I want to configure port mirroring. Because it is a production swtich, I want to make sure if these steps are correct. Could you help me, please?

 

M4100-50G-POE+

Source port 1 and 2

Destination port 3

 

1. In the admin console, I go to Monitoring and Mirroring.

2. Under Mirroring Global Configuration, I choose 0/3 as Destination Interface. Change the Session Mode to Enable.

3. Under Status table, check on 0/1 and 0/2, and change Direction to "Tx and Rx"
4. Click on Apply.

5. Go to "Maintenance" tab and check box on at "Save Configuration."

Am I understanding correct? Will there be a down time? Is the swtich going to be rebooted?

 

Any advice is appreciated.

    It appears correct to me, click here for instructions (it will look a little different due to its firmware version). Regarding your questions, is it downtime and reboot upon enabling? As far as I know it should not.
