[M4300] force 1G port speed
Hi all,
I am quite new to the managed switches world.
I need to configure my M4300-28G-POE+ switch to run an AVoIP infrastructure.
For that purpose, i am trying to configure the switch to meet as much recomendations as possible.
One of it is to force ports to run in 1G without auto-negotiation.
While i can force speed to 1000 in the webUI, i can only accomplish this while using Auto-Negotiation.
Is there anyway i can force 1000 with auto-negociation off ?

Autonegotiation is part of the IEEE 802.3ab (1000BASE-T) standard for Gigabit Ethernet over copper wiring. It is mandatory for 1000BASE-T Gigabit Ethernet over twisted pair., therefore it can't be disabled.
