M4300 strange network behavour
We bought 2 M4300 stackable switches, but from the beginning we cannot get the network properly working.
At the moment we have a very basic setup:
Downloaded the latest firmware v12.0.11.13
Did a factory reset
Disconnected the second switch, so only 1 switch is operatable at the moment.
I want to setup a management vlan, so I can manage the switch over the network.
OOB port is working without problems.
management vlan: 200
ip adres: 10.200.0.5
I tagged a port with Routed Vlan 200
I connect my computer with a manual ip adres
So, I can ping the device:
(base) ➜ ~ ping 10.200.0.5
64 bytes from 10.200.0.5: icmp_seq=14 ttl=64 time=1.126 ms
64 bytes from 10.200.0.5: icmp_seq=15 ttl=64 time=1.371 ms
64 bytes from 10.200.0.5: icmp_seq=16 ttl=64 time=1.566 ms
I can get the headers from the management interface via Curl.
(base) ➜ ~ curl -I http://10.200.0.5
HTTP/1.1 200 OK
Set-Cookie: RID=1391bc8665b8792b0a5211737d403d1d53b46b06fdeb; Path=/; HttpOnly; SameSite=Strict; max-age=60
Transfer-Encoding: chunked
Content-Type: text/html
Cache-Control: no-cache
X-Frame-Options: sameorigin
x-xss-protection: 1; mode=block
But I cannot get to the page. It keeps loading, also via curl or wget:
(base) ➜ ~ curl http://10.200.0.5
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<head>
<meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=edge">
<LINK REL=stylesheet HREF="/v1/base/style.css" TYPE="text/css">
<link rel=stylesheet href="/v1/base/nanoscroller.css" TYPE="text/css">
<META http-equiv="Pragma" content="no-cache">
<META HTTP-EQUIV="Content-Type" CONTENT="text/html; charset=UTF-8">
<TITLE>NETGEAR M4300-52G</TITLE> <!-- Cheetah Page Title -->
<link rel="shortcut icon" href="/v1/base/favicon.ico"> <!-- fav icon -->
<script type='text/javascript' src='/v1/base/js/jquery-1.12.4.min.js'></script>
<script type='text/javascript' src='/v1/base/js/jquery.cookie.js'></script>
<script type='text/javascript' src='/v1/base/js/ng_tabs_Layer2.js'></script>
From there on it keeps loading. And I never get the rest of the page.
What is going on here?
Thanks In advance!
