Managing multiple GS324TP Switches

Question

I want to know the best way to configure multiple Netgear managed switches on the same network in the same physical location.

I started with a firewall and a Netgear managed switch. The managed switch was left with its default settings. I added two GS324TP managed switches (with default settings) and used patch cables to connect them to the first switch.

My network is 192.160.150.x. It has 2 VLANS that are setup on the firewall (192.160.151.x and 192.160.152.x).

I want to configure my switches to have tagged and untagged VLAN ports. I can't do this on my firewall because my firewall will only allow me to "add a switch" for certain brands/model numbers.

Also, I installed the network discovery tool on a Windows PC on static IP 192.160.150.50 but it could not find any of the switches.

Reads like three VLAN, or say two VLAN plus the basic IP subnet.

How can you bring these other VLANs from the firewall to the switches? Usually, you run a trunk, either with all three VLANs tagged, or one flat untagged plus two tagged.

Let's name these VLAN 150, VLAN 151 and 152 for simplicity. From this, you have all three VLANs on the switches, and you can configure select access ports for VLAN 150, PVID 150, [U]ntagged; others for&nbsp;&nbsp;VLAN 151, PVID 151, [U]ntagged; and even more others&nbsp;VLAN 152, PVID 152, [U]ntagged (but no other VLAN associations).

While writing, it hits my eyes that you are using&nbsp;192.160.150.x, 192.160.151.x, and 192.160.152.x. Is this a typo, or intentionally&nbsp;not using the RFC1918 IP space like 192.168.150-x/24, 192.168.151.x/24, and 192.168.152.x/24?

This reads like one untagged, plus to tagged VLANs. Difficult to help without knowing more about the firewall brand, model, ...

No such tool. Netgear Insight isn't available on these lower-cost Smart managed switches I'm afraid.
