Memory Utilization
We have a few GSM7228 and M5300 network switches (managed) on local network. All the switches has 90% or more average memory utilization at all times.
The network is working fine, but we're curious about the high memory utilization. CPU average utilization is below 10%, Response Time is great & Packet Loss is 0%.
Any idea of what could be causing the high memory utilization? Thanks.
Thanks for the response. The firmware version installed is 10.0.0.53.

Hello bama16,
Welcome to the community!
This question was answered on one of our KB's, please click here. This KB mentions that the high utilization is normal and the memory is not actually used until needed. The amount of memory usage may also vary based on the configurations done on the switch, having a good response time and no packet loss indicates that there is no real problem caused by this. Can you also tell us the firmware/boot that are running on the switches?
Thanks,
