MKV files don't work with Samsung TV
I recently added the Netgear GS305E switch to my network, for the wired devices in my bedroom. But since doing so I cannot stream MKV files to my Samsung smart tv. MP4 files seem to work fine, but af...
No other systems connected to the new installed switch, probably making more load to the DLNA media server?
Time for a factory reset, probably a firmware update? -> https://www.netgear.com/support/product/gs305e
Does not sound like a healthy connection to me.
Should this not fix the issue, head to https://my.netgear.com/ ... select your registered device and follow the [Request Hardware Support]-
The TV is connected to port 1 on the switch and the files are stored on my PC, streamed via media library

Thanks, factory reset and re-installing the firmware seems to have fixed it!
I did update of firmware when I first got the device but obviously something wasn't sitting right.Anyway, I am very grateful for your speedy reply and unquestionable wisdom!
