Netgear enterprise switches & LLDP PortID

Apparently the LLDP-MED feature changes the portID sub-type from 'ifname' to 'local'. I found this just by some luck in that I disabled LLDP-MED. Here is a Linux host running lldpctl when LLDP-MED is turned on:
