netgear Singapore support to partner

HI

 

to put it bluntly i was dealing with a distributor for netgear based in singapore who relayed to work with an authorised 

netgear engineers based in malaysia. however as project proceed, the main contracor of the company  did not pay his subcontractors. the subcontractor who then  delayed the purchase of th switches 60 units 4300 surveillance switches. this was informed to netgear and the project will be delayed but eventually suceed if payment by the main contractor.  the main contractor proceed directly to singapore when the mangement of the comminy agreed upon terms thus bypassying the subcobntracor for monetary gains/

 

common sense, ehthics and principals did not prveail. this would be last time i would ever recommend netgear large scales due to this infraction. i was the network designer in principlal brought in netgear for this project. i expected alot for respect especially for partners who work hard to promote netger in thier projects.

    Are you a registered as Netgear Solution Partner? Have registered the project or the deal with Netgear?

     

    From 40+ years in the enterprise project business, I can tell you I was frustrated many times. So you see, i'm fully with you! Because of my customers (many from the global fortune 500, but also government, and SMBs) told me they are able to buy the hardware for less than I was able to offer it. There is no other way to do the paperwork in time.

     

    If anybody else does go and sell over over whatever alternate channel into your project, to your customer, or however, you have something in your hands to complain to the hardware vendor. 

     

    Last but not least, my current price discussions with the big vendors are optical modules - from basic single wavelength 1G SFP, 10G SFP+ over the SFP28, QSFP+, QFSP28+ to the C-band tuneable modules for DWDM applications on bandwidth of 10..100...400G for single mode fibers from short range, over 10...20 km to 40...80 km fibers. My customers get discounts in the 90% (single wavelength) to 95% (tuneable DWDM modules). Scandalous what is going in the laser modules business - a complete rip-off (and don't tell me it's about support and warranty...) - on the pricing side. Do you hear us LaurentMa ?

      i was working with singapore netgear and avanti malaysia who he recommended and been designing with them for months and registered with USA netgear which i have support letters.

       

      singapore the the worst unprinciple company i ever dealt with..

       

      i called them up and he stated that he will provide support to my competitors but not complete support as much as he woruld provide zyrus co.

      i was thinking i brought you into the project and greed took the better of them.. i have documenetation and network designs which i created 

      and netgear i have been buying for many years. for this project i purhaseed m43000 switches from them which confirmed the project. however seems singapore netgear which i have communication with them decided to do a uturn and back stab my company which created the entire project to fail.. i hold netgear singapore compeltely reesponsbile for the failure of my project. he is selling the switches directly to my competittor and this is unethical and unprofessional to the highest level. i tried to complain to netgear and heard nothing from them, 

       

      very sad stat of affairs that netgear singapore was focus more about gaining money than partnership.

      i will not lt this go...
