Prosafe GS108Ev3 with a TPLink AV600
Hi,
I have recently purchased a managed switch GS108Ev3 and having a strange issue with what almost appears to be a DOS attack.
If i connect my wired lan devices then all appears to be ok however i have a number of AV600 Tplink connections.
Whenever i plug in the AV600 my computer (which i use to access the switch) will, after a few minute, start receiving huge amounts of data.
Looking at the network activity in task manager i am being sent mb`s of data for no reason i can see. There also comes a point when the PC starts to slow down and typing becomes erractic.
If i disconnect the TPlink then it returns to normal ?
Other issues also happen such as internet connection is lost on the whole network and the Wifi totally fails.
I was trying to confirm if there is some incompatibility using the TPLink with a managed switch but can find little information.
I have a number of TP links and have tried them individually and the same thing happens.
The PC i use is a wired connection and not using the AV600.
Any pointers or someone pointing out my stupidity would be appreciated.

Does connecting the TPLink AV600 establish a network loop - because of the new GS108Ev3 is connected to the router and the PC, and the AV600 does also create a link to the very same router?
I am not quite sure of what you are asking. The setup up is my router is connected to the Gs108Ev3. My pc and two AV600`s are then connected to the GS108Ev3. The two AV600`s are used to supply internet to a couple of locations elsewhere in the house where i am unable to cable. ¬The AV600 appear to connect ok to the paired units however i have been more focused on what has been happening with my pc so never tested if they are working.
