Quick Question Regarding M4300 8x8 Switch
Hi All,
Was gifted this unit but was curious to know if used at home, is it simply plug and play? Just will be using it to connect smart TVs, gaming PCs and gaming consoles.

Yes, sure the M4300-8X8F can be used as an "Unmanaged Switch". It just means that all default settings will be great for your home devices and will not require any extra-configuration if everything stays in Default VLAN 1. This will be plug and play for you.
Just ensure you are running the latest 12.0.7.12 firmware, the main fan will be shut down when the ambient temperature is under 25C. And while you are in the Web GUI, just reset the switch to factory defaults, to make sure you have a default configuration.
