S3300 storm control
Hello
Can someone please clarify the various options in storm control?
What is the Ingress Control Mode used for ? Is is a prerequisit for the individual port settings ?
What happens if Ingress Control Mode is disbled and some ports are enabled?
What happens if Ingress Control Mode is enabled and no port is enabled ?
Is there any best practice ?

Ingress Control mode let's you set the mode of Broadcast that the feature Storm Control will affect (Unknown Unicast, Multicast, Broadcast)
Control Action mode let's you set an action that will happen when a threshold has been met for the configured Storm Control
Threshold let's you set the threshold for the Storm Control.
If Ingress Control mode is Disabled, enabled ports will not have Storm Control and will not measure any incoming Broadcast.
If Ingress Control mode is Enabled but no ports are enabled, no Broadcast will be measured since there is no incoming traffic.
Other users may be able to explain and provide the best practices for using Storm Control.
