Seeing a security viloation on port security where device MAC seems to be case sensitive

Have enabled single MAC port security on switch and get security violations with some types of devices. These devices seem to present their MAC address in lower case when booting up and in bootloade...

Sorry, The model is the ProSafe GS110TP

The Boot Version is B5.1.0.2

Software Version 5.4.2.18

Though I do not see this as a limitation on the firmware that you are using, I suggest updating to the latest version. It appears that you are 4 versions behind. Please click here.
