Setup m4250 redundancy with fiber from FOH to stage and back
Hey all,
We want to create redundant lines for our Audio and in de future video over IP.
The idea is to run a Optical con quad fiber with 4 LC's from foh to stage to connect all audio and controls.
Could anyone please tell me if I am doing this right?
3 m4250 switches at front
3 m4250 switches at the stage
Switch 1 primary dante
Switch 2 secondary dante
Switch 3 AV controls and netgear controls
VLAN 10 primary
VLAN 20 Secondary
VLAN 30 Controls
The fiber cables are connected to sfp switch 1 and SFP switch2
for switch 1 it will be a trunk Vlan 10 and 30
for switch 2 it will be a trunk Vlan 20 and 30
Now here is the question:
if I run a cable from switch1 port 10(vlan30) to switch 3 and also a cable from switch 2 port 10(vlan 30) to switch 3
can I manage to get this working over the fiber cables and also be redundant.
If switch 2 breaksdown we are still up and running and switch 2 same idea.
Love to hear from you gus thanks in advance. #m4250 #redundancy
