Switch block Ubuntu Access to Webinterface

Hello,

i have a Log Entry:

<14> Sep 30 11:59:05 192.168.202.247-1 UNKN[2173068724]: dtl_net.c(2177) 9 %% mac entry not found:0x0:0x15:0x5d:0xffffffca:0xffffffae:0x28

 

I can not ping the switch.

Other OS I have access.

What is the cause of the problem?

Did you like I can eliminate this advice.

  • I have found the solution, the latest firmware (06/2015)

    Welcome to the community! 

     

    I understand you are having some issues accessing your switches' web-UI using your ubuntu computer. For us to be able to help you with this, I would like to ask some questions which I have listed below: 

     

    1. Is the switch already configured with static IP or is it on DHCP? 

    2. Does the Ubuntu OS have the same IP of the switch?

    3. What is the model number of the said switch? 

     

    You can also take a look at this article and see if it might be able to help you fix the issue.

      Excuse was a few days sick.

       

      1. Is the switch already configured with static IP or is it on DHCP? 

      STATIC

      2. Does the Ubuntu OS have the same IP of the switch?

      No, Ubuntu has 192.168.202.213/23 the Switch 192.168.202.247/23 i'm testing a another IP -> same

      3. What is the model number of the said switch? 

      GS716Tv2

       

      It does not even ping.

      The same Problem have i whit a another Ubuntu.
