Using multiple internet connections
I may be wording the question with the wrong terminoligy, I appoligise its my first time using a smart switch, What I'm looking for is it possable to use the GS716 after a firewall with some ports us...
I've read the VLAN setup but I think I'm missing something, My firewall has the trusted network(everything on this subnet is behind a firewall) and the DMZ network(anything on the subnet is not firewalled) but not segregated together, I want them totally seperated, Almost like I'm using two internet connections and two routers into one switch but always seperate. I can setup the VLAN1, ports 2-8 use port 1 and the incoming internet from "trusted" firewall port 192.168.10.1, Can I have VLAN2, ports 10-16 use port 9 as the incoming internet from the "DMZ" port of my firewall, 192.168.20.1? My setup now is, Firewall "trusted" port going to the smart switch and Firewall "DMZ" port going to another seperate switch, I am trying if possable to just use the one smart switch.
Sorry for the confusion I maybe confusing myself.

The router should be the one configured to segregate the two networks because it will not make sense if they are segregated on the switch but will still meet on the router. The router should be VLAN aware as well to manage its routing.
