Hello,
Regarding the VLAN issues you've outlined:
Protocols: Check if IGMP snooping is enabled for multicast traffic. Also, verify the status of PIM (Protocol Independent Multicast) for routing multicast traffic.
STP Influence: Spanning Tree Protocol (STP) may affect VLAN communication. Ensure that STP is configured correctly, and consider adjusting the port roles and priorities.
STP Configuration: Confirm that STP is appropriately configured on both switches. Check for any misconfigurations or inconsistencies in STP settings.
Routing Absence: Since no routing is done on switches, ensure that VLANs are properly segregated and VLAN interfaces are correctly configured, especially at SITE B for passthrough.
Investigate these areas to address the reported issues. If problems persist, further diagnostics may be necessary.
Best regards,
Michael Jordy
