XSM7224S - 24-Port 10G SFP+ Receive Discards On Port Channel
Morning,
We have 2 of the above stacked. There is a port channel configured with 4 ports 1/0/23 and 24, 2/0/23 and 24 these are connected to a L2 Dell N4032F
We have been seeing a large volume of receive discards on the XSM7224, initially on 1/0/23 and 24. The 2 ports on the 2nd switch were clear of receive discards.
Been thru the config, rebooted etc etc and the conditions remained the same.
Swapped out the SFP on 1/0/24, the receive discards then stopped.
However, they then started on 2/0/23 which was previously error free.
It seems that if we stop the receive discards on on port in the port channel, they simple move to another.
Has anyone experienced this before, please?

Defect SFP module moved probably. Have properly cleaned the fiber connection (module and cable)?

I thought the SFP was faulty too, so swapped it.
What I dont understand is 1/0/23 was showing Receive discards, I swapped the SFP in 1/0/24 and the receive discards have stopped on both the above interfaces, we didn't touch 1/0/23.
It's as if the issue has moved to switch 2 in the stack, but neither of those 2 interfaces were touched either.
