Beginner plugging in switch for first time - most ports aren't recognized, going through settings

Nothing works. :(  I feel like a consumer at Best Buy. Wait....   I have my router plugged into my XS728T switch. I also have many items plugged in. However only three to four things are seen.   ...

Very brief - excellent ollection of screenshots - so I'll ry to answer::

    • Only 1, 2, 7, 9 and 25 seem to have active links.
    • 9 seems to be disabled by STP or the like - loop?
    • All (or almost all) ports seem to have cables attached.

Simple guess: Are the devices where you get no links 10 Mb/s or 100 Mb/s devices? The XS728T and XS748T models only support 10GBASE-T copper supporting 10G/1G speeds.
