Orbi RBE871 not recognizing all devices on Wifi
Our network worked fine until a few weeks ago. (We have a router and one RBE870 satellite.) Now it's not showing all devices as being connected, even when they are connected. I can look in the app and see the device listed, but it says Offline, even though I can go on the device itself and see it's online. We're getting randomly kicked off the network on our ipads while we're working on them. I thought it was just the iOS devices, but it's affecting a Dell desktop computer, one of our HP printers, and 2 of our 3 garage doors, for example.
The router's firmware is up-to-date (v. 10.5.20.4). Any ideas how I can fix this?

What version of the Orbi app are you using?
Same thing seen on the RBRs web page?
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router 📡 and satellite(s)🛰️? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR 📡 and RBS 🛰️ to begin with depending upon building materials when wired or wirelessly connected.

Does this happen with the RBS turned OFF?
Does this happen with both wireless and wired devices?
What channel configurations are currently set on the router?
Be sure to disable any MAC Address randomizers on phones and pads while at home:

Has a factory reset and setup from scratch been performed since last FW update?

App version 2.52.0.42 - it's the same on iphone and ipad.
Website only shows devices that are connected, offline only shows MAC address, so I can't identify.
Home approx 5300 sq ft
More than 30 feet to satellite

Using Xfinity internet, don't know about IPv6
Only have 2 wired, they're fine. Seems to only affect wireless.
Wireless 2.4 and 5 enabled; WPA2-PSK + WPA3-Personal enabled
Armor not activated; parental control not activated; traffic meter not activated
Haven't tried a factory reset or setup from scratch.

What channels are you using for 2.4 and 5Ghz?
Be sure to disable any MAC Address randomizers on phones and pads while at home...

They're set to Auto, so I can't tell what channels they are.
All iOS devices are set to Fixed MAC address.

Lets try setting manual channesl to 1 and 40 or 11 and 48...
- irishleerileyAspirant
OK, I changed them to 1 and 40.
The devices that were using those channels continue to show as connected. (I have 9 devices showing as Allowed and online -- there should be many more!)
Also, it seems the ipads that were updated to 26.4 drop the network more often than the ones with previous iOS versions. I thought this was a problem caused by the iOS update, but then I realized it was affecting more than Apple devices.

Are all your devices being seen on the RBRs web page under Connected Devices?
- irishleerileyAspirant
No, even on the web page it's just the same 9 that are showing as Connected.
