connecting GS728TXS and GC728XP with AXC761

Hello,

I want to connect my two switches (GS728TXS and GC728XP) to work as one.

Simply plugging the AXC761-cable into some 10G-ports does not work.

I need some help to configure the port settings.

Greetings

  • Have reconfigured the stacking port(s) to plain Ethernet uplink ports on the GS7xxTXS as per the fine documentation, p.91 "Configure the Stacking Ports as Ethernet Uplink Ports"?

This won't make a "work as one" as this combination can't be managed as a stack.

Don't know if there are any other support limitations for DAC on the GS7xxTXS.

Immer gerne, speziell bei Dingen die eben nicht so offensichtlich sind.

        Grüsse aus der Schweiz!
