Cooling fans running fast

The cooling fans inside of our Netgear S3300-52X-PoE+ ProSAFE 48-Port Gigabit Stackable Smart Switch with PoE+ and 4 10G uplinks randomly start spinning really fast. The tempature where the switch is mounted is between 76-78 degrees. We had the switch in that location for almost two years now without any problems. Is there a way of change the fan sensors threshold? Or is this a sign of the switch starting to fail? The model is S3300-52X-PoE+, boot version is B1.0.0.10 and software version is 6.6.4.9

    scottstgelais,

    Welcome to the community! :)

Kindly update the firmware of your S3300-52X-PoE+ switch to the latest version which is v6.6.4.25 then observe if the same problem will occur.  You can download S3300-52X-PoE+ FW v6.6.4.25 here
