Dead ProSAFE Plus 24 Port Switch with PoE (JGS524PE)
This switch stopped working and has a limited lifetime warranty but when I try to open a support case it says, "The chat queue is busy right now. Try again soon." What good does it do to have this if Netgear blocks your ability to use the lifetime hardware warranty??? What do I do?

https://my.netgear.com/ Needless to say, your product must be registered properly -and- the product in question (except for the fully managed switches) does match this "fine print":
All NETGEAR limited warranties begin on the date of purchase. PLEASE RETAIN A COPY OF YOUR RECEIPT AS PROOF OF PURCHASE. The duration of the limited warranty will vary depending upon the NETGEAR product you bought. Please see the product detail pages on netgear.com to determine the warranted period for your specific NETGEAR product.
The warranty for products with ProSAFE Limited Lifetime Warranty, except for Fully Managed Switches, ends five years after the product is listed as NETGEAR Business Products "End of Life" or EOL here.
Fully Managed Switches (https://www.netgear.com/business/products/switches/managed/) are warranted for their lifetime, as long as the original bona fide end user continues to own or use the product.Looks to me like all JGS524PE SKUs are well within that time window:
Don't understand why the [Request Hardware Support] is (under some conditions) not available.
In case you don't see that link, there is no other way than calling Netgear support.
