    I believe it doesn't detect any loops within those switches that is why it is showing disabled. You may try connecting a cable from g1-g2 on the same switch just to check if STP will work. Even if you enabled LAG and the configuration from the other switch is incorrect, definitely, it will not show anything in the stats page. Make sure that both ends have the same configuration in setting up LAG and even in Stack configuration.
