Hi, my switch GC108P shows "device not found" when I'm trying update the firmware in the app and the web cloud portal too. Anyone can help, please?

While many questions are generic and could be answered anywhere, some things need specialist knowledge. In this case you have asked about managed switches in the zone that covers Mobile Routers, Hotspots & Modems.

You might get more help, and find earlier questions and answers specific to your device, in the appropriate section for your hardware. That's probably here:

Discuss Ethernet Switches Plus and Pro Managed

I will ask the Netgear moderator to move your message.

In the meantime you could visit the support pages:

    Support | NETGEAR

Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware. Look at the label on the device for the model number.

    Check for various troubleshooting tips.

You may have done this already. I can't tell from your message.

I mention it because Netgear stopped supplying printed manuals and CD versions some years ago and people sometimes miss the downloads.

This would apply more the Insight (named App and Web portal) and the cloud managed GC switches. Curious if you talk of the Insight App and Web portal or any other? At which point does this "device not found" message?

Is the switch correctly associated with the Insight cloud? Does the Dashboard show devices with issues? Does the Devices view list all (like the other Insight cloud managed switches, AP, ...) as Connected? This is the pre-requirement to operate Insight managed devices.
