Getting individual port POE values using SNMP
Hi,
I am trying to get command line access using SNMP to my switch to get the individual POE values like the wattage and current.
I can see that we can turn on and off individual ports in this discussion:
The switch says that it support POWER-ETHERNET-MIB which should allow me access to monitor the POE values. Can someone please help me find the exact oid that will get me the values for individual ports.
I have attached my snmpwalk output in the discussion.

The complete RFC-3621 Power MIB support is part of the specs and the MIB file associated - the absence of it on this switch line was reported on several posts since 2019, and it was promised to carry forward this flaw to R&D ... YeZ please.
Does this still apply with the recently released firmware 6.0.10.5?

The link you provided is for the model GS728TPv2. My model is GS724TPv2 and the latest firmware on the download page is 2.0.7.4. That firmware is not working.
Do you reckon I can use the 6.0.10.5 firmware of GS728TPv2 on my GS724TPv2?

Sorry, my mistake. Ignore that other device model firmware.

The POWER-ETHERNET-MIB (easier to read as decrypted than the MIB file here http://www.circitor.fr/Mibs/Html/P/POWER-ETHERNET-MIB.php) does various PoE aspects. For example, you find the nominal and measured power for the PoE subsystem, the PoE classes by port - but not actual power usage (Watts or Amps) by port as you are looking for.
Netgear has implemented NETGEAR-POWER-ETHERNET-MIB http://www.circitor.fr/Mibs/Html/N/NETGEAR-POWER-ETHERNET-MIB.php, the NETGEAR Power Ethernet Extensions MIB containing this or the similar information - in my understanding this is not available on this class of switches.
