GS110TP gets inactive on network

I have main router which was given by my ISP provider. I have two GS110TP switches connected to the router LAN socket ( I have only one LAN socket on main router). These two switches getting inactive on my LAN network. The devices connected to these switches going to sleep or getting disconnected. How to keep these switches "awake" on the network.

What is that modem? What is your router?

A router with only one socket is rare. Sounds more like a modem. You can't use a bunch of swtches as a router.

While many questions about routers are generic and could be answered anywhere, some things need specialist knowledge.

You might get more help, and find earlier questions and answers specific to your device, in the appropriate section for your hardware. That's probably here:

Smart / Plus / Click Switches - NETGEAR Communities

You might like to search there for messages related to your problem.

I will ask the Netgear moderator to move your message.

In the meantime you could visit the support pages:

    Support | NETGEAR

Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware. Look at the label on the device for the model number.

    Check for various troubleshooting tips.

You may have done this already. I can't tell from your message.

I mention it because Netgear stopped supplying printed manuals and CD versions some years ago and people sometimes miss the downloads.

      Hi, Thanks for your reply.

Here are my answers to some of your questions.

What is that modem? What is your router? Eero 6+. This device was given by ISP. There are two ports at the back. He configured one as WAN and one as LAN. This device is among the recent varieties where the device can be programmed as a switch or a router. ISP programmed as router.

I could not find the same info from the netgear website. Is Eero doing that, to make them offline or netgear going to sleep mode. I have no idea.

      Thanks for the help.

        And the modem is?

The Eero 6+. is one of those odd "designed for WiFi" beasts. They don't feature here that often.

Did you look for the manuals for your switches?

        See link above.
