GS305E no led's light up

So my GS305E worked perfectly but now only the Power led lights up (very dim) and one other LED on port 4. This is when powered up only, no lan cables connected to it. When i connect my cat6 ethernet cable, nothing happens, no lights or anything. Tried a factory reset and nothing happens. I should add that i had to change wifi network and did not think i had to change any of the settings on my Netgear switch. could this be the source of the problem? I can't locate it on the network with discovery tool

    Possible switch has gone bad. 

    Try a different power adapter with same volts and amps as on original one. Most common power adapters so you should be able to find something to check this.
