GS305EP no connection to LAN devices

Dear Community,

I have a brand new GS305EP.

It is connected to a cascaded other Netgear Switch in the network.

I can access and configure the new GS305EP switch without any problems.

3 PoE camera devices are connected to the switch and one non powered AccessPoint, ports 1-4

Uplink is on port 5

The devices seems to be up and running and they are producing lots of packets - at least the  port statistic tells me so

But I am not able to access the devices that are connected to the switch  from the network side.... đŸ€”

Any idea why?

Reset to factory settings didn't change anything.

I had a non managed switch in use before, that worked without any problems.

Best regards and thanks in advanced đŸ˜

Uwe

An GS305EP is very similar to an unmanaged switch, especially in it's default config without any VLAN configuration. There is no routing, no ACL or the like. Just a tiny controller which does allow some switch configuration - so far off from a managed, or even a smart managed switch. Attached devices are able to get a network config from the router DHCP server, too.

Had reconfigured the attached computer and the switch to an IP config in a different IP subnet probably?
