GS324T VPN

Hi, I have purchased a Netgear GS324T switch for my small business and I have a problem.
I have connected everything but the VPN network of an external company software does not link to the switch.
Which may be due?
Does the switch need to have a gateway or can I remove it?
Thank you so much

Explain us exactly what does not work in this whatever VPN context. Is this a VPN with an internal VPN concentrator, hae some software on the router handling the VPN, or is the fancy VPN conigured just on a single computer?

The switch does (permitting the management VLAN and subnet has a DHCP server or the switch is IP management interface is configured manually) have an IP addess in your LAN.

Typically, one does have the default gateway configured, pointing to the default/Internet router LAN IP. Or why not?!?

Well, it is software that works on several computers in the company and the server is located in another city, it is like a personal internal network just to run that program, the fact is that with the old switch it works and I have it now ... but I connect everything to this new switch and the program does not work, the led light of the switch blinks as if trying to connect but does not stay fixed.

Complete unrelated to the VPN in this case.

Still very vague what LED you are referring to. In case this is (or are) the port LEDS, for whatver reason, the links don't come up. Typical cause is almost alwways in tve wiring. Xould ve a switch hardware error, too
