GS724Tv4 and AVB

I have a Netgear GS724Tv4 ProSafe 24-port Gigabit Ethernet Smart Switch.

Software version loaded is 6.3.1.11.

License with following features

- MRP

- MMRP

- MVRP

- MSRP

- DOT1AS

is activated.

I paid more than half the price of the hardware for activation of AVB on my switch. Usually AVB is open-source and free.

Is this switch fully compatible, compliant, conform and interoperable with AVB as per specification from avnu.org and IEEE?

Would/does this switch pass the test for certification as per http://avnu.org/recognized-test-facility/

How to configure and set-up the switch to make it the best suited for AVB?

Please give a honest and sincere answer to my questions. This will/would prevent/avoid a lot of unnecessary troubles and their shootings.

Do not just delete my post!

Thanks.

    Hi AW_GearNet,

I'm not that really sure if this would be compliant to avnu.org as this AVB license is already a 3rd party software. Were you able to confirm this to avnu? Maybe they do have a list of switches that they recommend or already compliant to their system. So that we can verify if the switch that you have would be compliant to them.

    Regards,
