GS748T need to power cycle, yet I cannot see it on the network

some ports are not functioning and I probobly need to power cycle. I also cannot see the switch from the network. (I use the netgear discovery tool and an IP range scanner). can I just pull the plug for power cycling or do I need to do more?

    Welcome to our community! :)

     

    You can just unplug it from the power outlet or press the reset button for 5 secs and see if the switch will reboot. If it is still not working, you can try to do hard reset by pressing and holding the reset button for 30 seconds or if there is a factory default button.
