GS752TP SFP Compatibility
Totally new to fiber, so appreciate any help on this.
We're installing data cabinet some distance from our existing wiring closet, and have spec'd a bunch of Trendnet switches (DIN Rail mountable with alarm-out features... otherwise would have gone with Netgear, but I digress...). We will be using the TI-MGBS10 SFP (1000Base-LX Industrial SFP Single-Mode LC Module,10km). The distance is less than 800 meters, and I was wondering if the Netgear AGM732F would be happy talking to our Trendnet GS752TP switch?
Any insights into the above would be appreciated.
Kind regards,
Bill

- schumakuGuru - Experienced UserThe AGM732F is spec'ed as SFP 1000Base-LX SingleMode 1310nm - so if the link is single.mode fiber, and the other end does use the same colour 1310nm, there is nothing stopping you from deploying this config
