Issues with PoE+ with GS105PE
Hello,
I bought a GS105-PE and a Ubiquiti Gigabit PoE+ 30W injector with the 802.3at standard, but the switch is always falling back on 802.3af standard. But for my devices I need the 802.3at standard? How can I fix this problem? First the LED of port 5 is yellow, then shortly green and falls back to yellow.

Potentially an interop issue. Have deployed large number of GS105PE (which exists in two chipset versions) powered by 802.3at PoE+ switches, pretty much flawless.

Tell us your exact expectations of what you intend to power. Even if the switch would retain the 802.3at power reliably, you can't power a 802.3at Class 4 PD, the max is one 802.3af Class 0 or Class 3 PD (or two Class 1 or 2 PDs).

First item to check is the current firmware. Update to the current version - mind your step, depending on the production time, you need to update version by version -> Solved: GS105PE * Need new Bootloader - NETGEAR Communities
The model does request 802.3at Class 4 power - the product datasheet specs state:
802.3at PoE
EU: 12.8 W (For PoE)
US: 13.9W (For PoE)While the EU power could be fulfilled by a 802.3af Class 0 or Class 3 (guaranteed 12.95W at the PD), in the US regulatory config it requires more. Appears they use the same base platform, so it is requesting 802.3at Class 4 - the GS105PE can't supply this, thus PoE won't enable.
