The trouble with the Smart Managed Plus (essentially non-managed switches with a very simple management capabilities added) is that the management/CPU port can't be bound to a certain VLAN (except of some XS7xxExx models where the platform does permit). The GS750E will pick-up an address by DHCP on any VLAN. Blunt theory, you could configure a fixed IP configuration matching your LAN. This does still leave the risk that the switch management might be tested, attacked and under some conditions accessed over the Internet.
