MS108EUP - replacement PSU / Power Adaptor

Hi, apologies in advance - it seems to be impossible to put this thread into the correct category, as only 5 (wrong) choices are presented when posting.

In case a mod sees this: Please move to an apropriate location, TIA.

:edit:

I just found a copy of the device sticker in the manual.

54V @ 4.7A

I will see what Netgear has in store...

___

My issue is: I require a power adaptor for a MS108EUP switch I got without PSU.

Unfortunately, I could not find the original parts specifications anywhere. OEM Netgear is preferred, quality part from a 3rd party is ok as well - if I could just find out the specs :-).

Thank you for your time and support,

Cheers,

Andreas

    Hi andnet81,

I moved your post to the right section.

I think you'd be best off, speaking to support regarding this. They can best advise you on what is possible, and/or, if they can ship you a PSU.

If the switch was received from someone else, I am not sure if this is an option, but best to discuss it with them.

You can raise a case through: https://my.netgear.com/support/contact.aspx

    Hi Andreas,

The power supply delivered with the MS108EUP model KPM254R-VI, the printed specs say 54V, 4.7A, 254W

Not so fun fact, this vendor is better assorted on Netgear and other power supplies 8-) It's available in India https://www.mibstech.com/buy-netgear-ac-adapter-54v-4.7a-254w

Challenge the Netgear support for a matching spare part. 8-)

    Viel Erfolg!

      Hi Mike, Kurt,

thank you very much for your detailed replies - very much appreciated.

"KPM254R-VI" seems to be hard to acquire (in Germany/EU), but now that I have seen that part, it very much looks like that any powerful 54V PSU should do the trick.

I will utilize only a fraction of the PoE specs, so the Netgear EPS200W (54V, 3.7 amps, 200W) will be a good fit.

      Thanks again!
