MS510txm, firmware V1.1.0.7 - anyone with issues?

Has anyone that updated their switch(es) to this new firmware found issues with it?

 

For e.g. any of the following:

1. Upon updating, the switch decided to connect to Netgear Insight - and be on? (I had mine deactivated).

2. Upon deactivating Netgear Insight, the switches loses the configuration, and resets to default configuration.

3. Uploading a configuration text file to the switch, will configure the switch for 5 mins before it decides to reset itself back to default.

4. I reset the switch back to defaults, and reconfigured the lot back to my needs, then a few days later, the configuration is dropped and resets to default.

 

I have 2 switches, with slightly different configurations. 1 switch seems to be stable (I only encountered the 1st problem with it), the other, is problematic with the remaining issues.

  • I have two MS510TXMs and two MS510TXUPs. I only encountered the first problem on all of them, and I was able to disable Insight on all of them without losing any data. For the one switch that you are having multiple problems with, you might need to open up a case with Netgear.

  • I had an issue where all my Private VLAN Associations were deleted. It on had the Primary VLAN and the Community VLAN were no longer associated.
