MS510TXPP reboot loop
I'm expecting to be out of luck here but my MS510TXPP has just failed and even though I'm within the 2 year warranty period, I now see that I needed to register the product within 90 days. Great.
The switch has been working fine until yesterday when it started rebooting continuously. Powering on results in the fan hitting max for a split second before it settles down into its boot process. About 20 seconds in, the fan spins up again and it loops.
I've tried resetting to factory defaults but holding the button seems to do nothing and it continues to reboot.
I took it apart this evening hoping to find a blown cap or something obvious but it looks fine. No signs of magic smoke. No obvious physical damage.
Any suggestions aside from scrap it?

Register your device anyway now, then head to https://my.netgear.com/ and follow the proces [Request Hardware Support]. Keep in mind there is a five year hardware warranty, not just two.
