CLI support for GS108Tv2?!
Dear Community, I'm new on this forum but have been using Netgear stuff in a SoHo setting for some 15 years now. First a ReadyNAS RND4000NV, then a WNDR3800 (wifi) router, and then a bunch of GS1...
Enter the default username: admin (without being promoted) in the telnet session on 60000, then you will get the password prompt, use the admin password from the Web UI....

It's awesome: with your help I could enter w/o a problem. The v2 CLI environment looks OK (and maybe I try something with it later), but the syntax is quite different from that of v3. So I have to be careful. F.e. no mention of 'startup-config' and 'backup-config' (only 'running-config' is present). And 'write' instead of 'save'. And 'show tech-support' shows BCM53312 CPU and ecos-2.0 as operating system, where v3 doesn't show any OS name, only firmware version. But this has happened in the past with Cisco products as well, new lines of hardware came with new OS developers and adapted syntax. Probably because of some company take over.
Nevertheless: Kurt, you saved my day. Thank you very much (or could I say Vielen Dank?! ;-) from The Netherlands.
