STP Leak using Broadcast packet 01:80:c2:00:00:1c
Actually I am trying to use
(On our GS752TPS Switch with firmware 5.3.0.36)
to solve this problem.
But I cannot assign the ACL to the port with the buggy Accesspoint. I get a "Failed to assign ACL".
Funny enough I can assign this ACL to a empty/unused port. (but switching the cable from the AP to that port doesn't help either.)
Could anybody please give a hint?
Thanks in advance

This issue (from what I understand this address is used for 802.11r by Ubiquity APs) was fixed on select Netgear model switches back in the year 2017 -> https://community.netgear.com/t5/Plus-and-Smart-Switches-Forum/STP-Leak-using-Broadcast-packet-01-80-c2-00-00-1c/m-p/1293373#M6194
Well possible, not all switches accept this special Multicast address in a ACL/filter.
LaurentMa svp again a bigger flood of fixes required 8-/
