Switch JGS524PE

Hello,

Last year (when I was going to school for network administrator) I bought a second hand switch, the JSE524PE. Now, I try to add this in my home network and connected the switch to my router. I downloaded the configuration utility software to manage this switch.

When I connected the switch directly to my laptop, I could find this switch all the time in "discovered switches". Now that I connected the switch to my router I lose connection in the software all the time.

The switch did receive an ip-adres from my router and can be pinged.

Is there something I can do to solve this problem, so I can manage the switch in the software I downloaded?

I also don't know how old this switch is, so maybe this can be a problem.

    @MichelBrenier,

    Welcome to our community! :)

    I suggest you use the latest Prosafe Plus utility software in order for your switch to be working properly. You can also access the Web management UI of the switch by using its IP address on your web browser.

    Regards,
