Vlan setup on GS108EV3

Hi,

 

I bought a GS108E and want to set Vlan, and I found something might be wrong. Sometimes I found PC could not connect to internet when TV box is turnning on, and I have to reboot GS108E to make PC connecting to internet correctly. 

Please help to check the settings below are all correct or not, thanks.

 

Port 1: TV box, need to connect to internet via port 8

Port 2: Webcam, need to connect to internet via port 8

Port 3 ~ 7: PCs, need to connect to internet via port 8

Port 8: Wan port, from ineternet via router.

 

Vlan 1: port 1~8 as default, all are untagging.

Vlan 2: port 1, port 8, both are untagging.

Vlan 3: port 2, port 8, both are untagging.

Vlan 4: port 3~8, all are untagging.

 

Port 1: PVID is 2

Port 2: PVID is 3

Port 3~7: PVID is 4

Port 8: PVID is 1

    Hi Hubert_Tu,

     

    Welcome to our community!

     

    As per checking in here that the PVIDs are on a different VLAN. May I know why is it the that PVIDs are on a different VLAN? Is there any DHCP server that provides IP to those VLAN? You may also take advantage of the free 90 days support with our support team. Please create a chat / case online on NETGEAR support and please let them know what you wanted to achieve here.

      Hi, Sir,

       

      I've gotten the answer from chat/case support. I have kept my configuration on GS108E for more than 3 days and there is no other problems.
