VLANs set up correctly?
Hello!
I have an AT&T Uverse box attached on a dedicated VLAN (10) to a Netgear GS308T (that switch is connected to a Netgear GS105Ev2 swtich) behind a pfSense firewall, and it's unable to connect. It won't pull down a dynamic IP address (DHCP server is on the firewall) or anything. I just wanted to make sure my VLAN configuration is correct:
GS105Ev2:
Port VLAN1 1 U 2 U 3 U 4 U (pfSense is connected here) 5 T (To GS308T) Port VLAN10 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 U (pfSense is connected here) 5 T (To GS308T)
GS308T:
Port VLAN1 1 U 2 U 3 - (DVR is connected here) 4 U 5 U 6 U 7 U 8 T (To GS105Ev2) Port VLAN10 1 - 2 - 3 U (DVR is connected here) 4 - 5 - 6 - 7 - 8 T (To GS105Ev2)
'U' indicates untagged, 'T' indicates tagged and '-' indicates removed.
Is my configuration correct, or is there a problem? If this configuration is correct, then my problem is with the firewall. I've also tested the DVR connection with a laptop, and it couldn't connect either.
Thanks!
Two Untagged VLAN on the port to the pfSense sounds wrong... one should be tagged IMHO.

That worked! I changed the pfSense connection to 'Tagged' on VLAN10. Thanks!
