WAX210 Management Password Issue?
What a miserable setup experience I've had with this device. I went through the same process and finally used Password!1 and it finally took it. Hopefully this helps someone else in the future.

Are you (like Cetus ) also an Apple user? The crux is in the At least one special character, such as the following characters: @ # $ % ^ & * ( ) ! password "requirements".
What easily looks like a usual special character can translate under the hood to something else once submitted -and- stored. Good example might be the - "a "Hyphen" - which in some regions/languages/countries defaults to an "En Dash" or an "Em Dash" — but looks extremely similar to most users:

Asking as not owning or operating any WAX210:
You report hat the initial password requirements at day zero are accepting and passing passwords, whenever initially accepted password don't allow the login later on? Reads like a bug to me.
