WAX214v2 managment interface onnnly accessible wired

I have a similar problem with WAX214v2. The AP is working fine. I can access the setup page if connected by cable  to the router. However I cannot access  it over WiFi using the same  IP. The IP is static, BTW.

Most consumer routers strongly depend on DHCP when it comes to the list of attached devices. That's why you router does not show the AP as a connected device.

In some case, the routers "forget" about the once shown connected device, eg. after changing from DHCP to static IP addresses.

Any wireless Access Control in place, allowing your computer LAN MAC address, but denying access via wireless? 

What IP address does the computer have when connecting to the wired LAN/Ethernet?

What IP address does the computer have when attempting to access the WAX214v2?

For completeness, is the WAX214v2 the only wireless AP providing network access? eg. no wireless on your router?

Last but not least: You are not doing yourself a favor by deploying device static IP addresses for many more reasons. Instead of static IP address, it's strongly suggested for adding an IP address reservation on your router DHCP server, so the same device (based on the MAC address) will get the same LAN IP address assigned.
