GS105 with Google Wifi
I have an existing wifi (Google Mesh) running from my Cox Cable Modem. I want to run a direct ethernet connection to one of my computers so I bought the GS105 switch. So my setup is Cox Cable to cable modem, ethernet cable from modem to Netgear, then from Netgear I ran (1) ethernet cable to Google wifi and (1) ethernet directly to computer. However, the network only recognizes one or the other when both are plugged in. So it either recognizes the wifi router (Google Mesh) or the computer.
Suggestions?

You can't do this - the modem must be connected direct to the Google WiFi WAN/Internet port (this is the one with the "earth" icon). This is the "outside" network where you typically just get a single public IP address. The switch must connect on the Google Mesh router LAN side (this is the one with the <...> icon).
Needless to say .... to connect a single PC to the Google WiFi router, there is no switch required.
FMI: Add LAN ports to Google Nest Wifi or Google Wifi
Not a Netgear switch problem at all.

I can't work out where the switch sits in this network. Is that what you mean by "Netgear"? If so, it is in the wrong place.
I assume that Google Mesh is some sort of wifi router. A switch should come after the router, between that and your computer.
You have posted your message in the section of this community given over to Mobile Routers, Hotspots & Modems. (This is easily done, given Netgear's complicated community structure.)
Many questions apply to different types of device, so you might get responses here, but you might get more help, and find earlier questions and answers specific to your hardware, in the appropriate section for your device. That's probably here:
